18/10/2004 - Northern Ireland "an inspiration" says Annan. UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan was at the University of Ulster's Magee Campus to give the latest Peace Lecture under Professor John Hume's tenure as Tip O'Neill Chair in Peace Studies.

11/10/2004 - Palestine given Northern Ireland 'peace lesson' - BBC coverage of LILP Project Officer Helen Lewis and Professor Tom Fraser in Ramallah, discussing history and conflict resolution in Ireland and the Middle East.

10/09/2004 - Who's better at good relations? Northern Ireland's Newsletter reporting from the Politicians and Community Relations conference held at Belfast's Waterfront Hall.

31/08/2004 - Hume speaks out on conflict. Belfast Telegraph previews the Annual Conflict Research Society conference, held in conjunction with INCORE at the University of Ulster's Magee Campus. Professor John Hume gave the opening address.

17/11/2003 - N.Ireland 'could be conflict model'. 100 delegates from Ireland, the US and across the Middle East convened for a joint University of Ulster/INCORE and Northern Ireland Middle East Connection conference looking at Northern Ireland as model for economic regeneration and conflict transformation in the Middle East.
